The project was awarded to Pegasus UK and Apec Energy Ltd. The Consultancy works started on 27th June,2011. The project is financed jointly by The Asian Development Bank(ADB) and  the Government of Bangladesh.

 SCOPE OF WORK :

Pegasus International UK and Apec Consultants Ltd. were awarded the contract for the consultancy services. 

Following is the scope of  work:

  1. To develop a “Portfolio of Projects”, relating to energy efficiency of Titas Gas Transmission & Distribution Company Limited (TGTDCL).
  2. Consultancy Services in project implementation such as:  
  3. a) Bid Preparation  b) Bid Evaluation

Construction Supervision related to Turn-Key Contracts under the Project.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION :

The main objective of the Project is to improve supply efficiency in the distribution system of Titas Gas Transmission & Distribution Company Limited (TGTDCL) having a gas pipeline network of more than 12,000 km and about 1.55 million customers of mainly Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, Captive Power and CNG stations besides Bulk Customers like Power Plants and Fertilizer Factories. This improved supply efficiency will be reflected through system loss reduction, improvement in management efficiency, gas conservation and positive environmental impact.

The Consultancy Services are mainly aimed at developing a “Portfolio of Projects” relating to energy efficiency of Titas Gas Transmission & Distribution Co. Ltd. The consultant will also provide services in Bid preparation, Bid evaluation, Construction supervision related to two Turn-key contracts under the project.

We provide Project Management Consultancy with the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of the project.

Feasibility Study :

A feasibility study is a comprehensive evaluation of a proposed project that evaluates all factors critical to its success in order to assess its likelihood of success.

Process Engineering :

APEC Energy Limited provides consulting in Process engineering focuses on the design, operation and handling of facilities in the process industries.

Drilling Supervision :

A drilling rig is the equipment used to drill a wellbore. Major components of the drilling rig include the mud tanks and pumps, derrick, draw works, rotary table, drill string, power generation and auxiliary equipment.

Pipeline Engineering :

Pipeline Engineering is a discipline specializing at pipeline design, construction, operation, inspection, maintenance and integrity management, with the purpose of providing safe and reliable transportation of oil and natural gas.

Horizontal Directional Drilling :

Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) is a method of installing underground pipelines, cables and service conduit through trenchless methods.

Training and Skills Development :

Training and Skills is our part of services through which we help our people become skills in our respective fields complying to international standard.
